Meal Tracking for non-billable meals

There needs to be an ability to track "non-billable" meals here. We occasionally have someone that brings in their own lunch because we may be scheduled to serve something they don't like to eat. Currently, we split them off into a separate calendar "activity" labeled as "caregiver provided meal" so that we can track the service, but be able to separate it cleanly for non-billable items.
Trial visitors are also non-billable, so we are manually splitting those out when using a CSV export of activities. That would need to be a consideration, as well.

Thank you for the detailed feedback — these are great points and you're clearly thinking about this from a real operational perspective! 🙏
We do have a Meal Tracking feature in StoriiCare that supports CACFP reporting and allows staff to record daily meals and snacks for participants. You can learn more about it here: https://help.storiicare.com/en/articles/11585985
Regarding the ability to categorize meals as non-billable (e.g. caregiver-provided meals or trial visitor meals) — this is not available yet, but we hear you. The ability to categorize meals within the feature is something we're planning to introduce as we continue developing Meal Tracking. We'll update this thread as we make progress, so stay tuned!
Thanks again for taking the time to share this — feedback like yours helps us prioritize the right improvements. 🎯
